Theocons Run Amok

I didn't have anything to write about today until I started listening to Randi Rhodes. Apparently the next step in the wingnuts' plan to destroy the federal courts is to cut their funding. I can only shudder that "conservatives" would want to fundamentally destroy a branch of government in the name of short-term partisan ambitions. This is the biggest threat to an independent judiciary since the the court-packing plan of 1937.

Of course, that proposal halted the New Deal. Perhaps we can use this to finally smash the right-wing machine.
