Democratic Senator Tim Johnson of South Dakota had some sort of collapse last night and is undergoing surgery. I'm not going to be as crass as some people and obsess over the political implications if the worst happens. That's just ghoulish, and I haven't lost that much of my soul yet.

All I have to say is: Good luck, Tim!

  • It was annoying to hear all the commentators on the news last night just solvating at the prospect of a shift in power when someone is in such a dire circumstance.

  • Yeah they're pretty horrible, aren't they? They're sociopaths, really. Human beings other than themselves aren't "real."
