You might not believe it, but Misha used to hate the dog. A lot.
Don't ask me what they were looking at. I never could figure it out.

They aren't looking at anything... it is a trick on the dog by the cat. The cat is smarter and knows that if he pretends to look out the window at something, the dog will follow so as not to miss anything. This entertains the cat enough that he will keep pretending to see something.

Wow. That's brilliant! Why didn't think of that? Misha has always been a little stinker. And Gatsby...well let's just say he's no rocket surgeon.
