I've just in the past year started to enjoy the finer points of Scotch, that is to say I can drink it without making faces and enjoy the experience...

As it stands, thus far I have not sampled any of Mr. Walker's labels. Though I gather the colors equate to age and/or quality. My point, or really questions is, is the blue label the top of the line? And what sorts of age are we talking here?
A week-ish ago I had some lovely Highland Park that was made the year I was born, which is to say, it was 28 years. That is the oldest I have had.
Also, is Walker worth it? I shy away from anything that says blended on it.
Additionally, is this comment long enough? -
Okay, 2nd time trying to post....

I don't know the age, but it's certainly the top of the line of blends, as far as I'm concerned. I generally go the single malts too (and that Highland sounds like something special), but the Blue is in a class of its own. -
cherish it! you deserve it. enjoy!

Okay, I have to ask . . . Is the "My precious" to be said in a gollum-like voice? :)
