Treason in Defense of Slavery Day

Evidently yesterday was the 150th anniversary of a bunch of rich white guys seceding so they would be able to exploit poor black people. I've made my feelings about confederate apologism pretty clear in the past, so I won't belabor the point other than to note that one of the few areas where I still might support the death penalty is treason. I did see this picture though, which cracked me up:
